Manchester City faced off against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result in the semifinals of the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola‘s men dominated possession in the first half but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Bernardo Silva finally made the decisive breakthrough in the 84th minute as Man City earned a narrow 1-0 win in the FA Cup.

CM: John Stones – 6.5/10

He anchored the midfield well in the first half and was replaced at half-time.

CM: Rodri – 7/10

The Spaniard protected his backline well and was a good presence on the ball.

RW: Bernardo Silva – 7.5/10

Silva was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and ended up winning the game for his team in the 84th minute.

CM: Phil Foden – 7/10

Foden caused a lot of headaches for his marker but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

CM: Kevin de Bruyne – 6/10

He was always willing to have a strike at goal but was underwhelming in the final third.
