On Wednesday, Corinthians announced their second official reinforcement for the upcoming 2020 campaign.
Left-back Sidcley returns to Corinthians from Dynamo Kyiv on a year-long loan.
“I am very happy to return to Corinthians, where I had a short but very remarkable stint in my career,” Sidcley said after signing his contract.
“I cannot wait to put on the Corinthians shirt once again in the Arena with the support of the fans the whole 90 minutes.”
Corinthians will pay the Ukrainian outfit €600,000 (R$2.7m) for his services. They will also have an option to buy at the end of his loan spell.
Manager Tiago Nunes is believed to have brought in Sidcley fully intending for the 26-year-old to start from day one.
Earlier in the transfer window, Corinthians landed 2017 South American Player of the Year Luan from Grêmio.
