Striker Divock Origi scored for Liverpool against Lincoln City last night.

However, many Reds supporters thought he played poorly. Anfield Edition’s Twitter page asked their followers what they thought of Origi’s performance.

Some Liverpool supporters were quite critical of the Belgian, which can be seen below.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We feel a bit sorry for Origi. He has achieved some great things for the club.

The Belgian scored two goals in Liverpool’s 4-3 aggregate win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals in 2019.

Origi then scored in the Champions League final in 2019. Liverpool won the clash 2-0 against Tottenham Hotspur.

We also can’t forget Origi’s last-minute winner against Everton at Anfield in the 2018-19 Premier League season.

Yet, as you can see in the aforementioned responses, some supporters want him to leave after his performance against Lincoln City.

Origi has scored 35 goals and registered 13 assists in 141 appearances for Liverpool. The reality is, he is a solid backup option for the front three.

Origi can score, and as we have highlighted, he can score some big goals.
