Edin Terzic (to DAZN): "An important victory – especially the way it came about. We started the match really well, seized control and created two really good chances. But we then lost the ball unnecessarily in our build-up play again and invited the opponent to become dangerous. The phase after the penalty was not good for us. And at the beginning of the second half, there were two more great chances (editor's note: for Hoffenheim). We didn't like it. It was a different game after the red card, and then we also showed a different side to ourselves. We then showed what it means to defend a victory. That was another development. Two weeks ago in Freiburg, we were told we won the match only because they were down to 10 players. Today we were down to 10 for quite a while and we not only managed to defend our goal but posed a danger ourselves. It was an important victory for us. There's room for improvement. But we're satisfied with the win."
