Sheraldo Becker leaves Union Berlin for Real Sociedad

Union Berlin have confirmed the departure of striker Sherlado Becker.

Becker leaves the Bundesliga side after five years, having played nearly 100 league games for the capital side and scoring 18 goals.

The forward was a huge part of Union’s unlikely rise, netting 11 goals last term as they qualified for the Champions League.

The 28-year-old departs Union to join Spanish side Real Sociedad, signing on a three and a half year deal.

The Suriname international signs for a Real side who are currently sixth in LaLiga but recently lost their Basque derby against Athletic.
