Several past and present Lionesses were recognised with trophies at the Shein Women’s Football Awards on Thursday evening.
Sarina Wiegman was named Coach of the Year, Emma Hayes missed out but was highly commended.
Wiegman said: “I would like to thank the fans who voted for me. The fans are always supporting us and that makes this even more special.”
Georgia Stanway beat Lucy Bronze to the Best International Footballer of the Year prize, after an impressive 12 months in which she excelled at Bayern Munich.
Goalkeeper Mary Earps won yet another gong, this time claiming the World Cup Hero award in front of Aitana Bonmati.
Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw was announced as Player of the Year ahead of Sam Kerr, Manchester United’s Maya Le Tissier won Young Player of the Year but had stiff competition from Laura Blindkilde Brown in particular.
Alex Scott and Steph Houghton were also successful, winning the Football Broadcaster or Journalist of the Year and Inspirational Role Model awards respectively, while there was a Lifetime Achievement award for Kerry Davis.
Chelsea were declared Club of the Year, with Brighton & Hove Albion highly commended for their efforts.
