Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale slammed their performance in defeat to Crystal Palace.
Ramsdale summed up the mood of the Sheffield United fans perfectly with his assessment of that performance.
"We got off to a slow, naive start that was lacking in confidence," he said.
"That's confusing, because we have nothing to lose. It was the same last week against Tottenham.
"We made a tactical tweak at half-time and went a little bit more direct in behind their full-backs and had some big chances, but then the second goal, we have a chance to make a tactical foul on the halfway line.
"We know Ebere's a very good player, he showed that against us in the first game, so we take the foul and they take a long free-kick and we try and nick one at the end.
"The two goals being deflected sums our season up. I was saving both of them, but at the same time if defenders don't try and block the shot then we're having a conversation because they're not trying to stop the ball.
"It's unfortunate, but the way we conceded them, especially the second one, is very stoppable."
