There were more FA Cup replays taking place on Tuesday with the big match coming at Bramall Lane with Wrexham taking on Sheffield United.
Here’s what happened.
Scorers: Ahmedhodzic 50′ Sharp 90+5′ Berge 90+6′; Mullin (PEN) 59′
Billy Sharp and Sander Berge scored with almost the last kicks of normal time to end Wrexham’s FA Cup run and see Sheffield United into the fifth round.
Wrexham could make it to the last 16 for the first time and knew that a victory would see them take on Tottenham in three weeks time.
It was all Sheffield United in the opening exchanges though as James McAtee went close with an effort from the edge of the area on 20 minutes.
And it was McAtee again who had a golden opportunity on half an hour but the on loan Manchester City man slotted wide when he really should have scored.
Into the second half and almost immediately the Blades took the lead as Anel Ahmedhodzic found space inside the area and fired into the roof of the net.
It wasn’t long however before Wrexham were level as Paul Mullin fired in an equaliser from the penalty spot.
The Welsh side had a great chance to take the lead on 72 minutes when Paul Mullin was fouled for a second time inside the area.
But this time his spot kick was saved by Adam Davies.
And with almost the last kick of the game it was Sharp who made capitalised on a mistake in the away side’s defence and scored the winner.
But that wasn’t the end of the scoring though as Sander Berge put a gloss on the win with a neat finish.
