Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says he could hand Rhian Brewster a full debut at Liverpool on Saturday.

Brewster, who became Sheffield United's record signing from Liverpool earlier this month, could make his first start for the Blades - at Anfield - after coming off the bench in last Sunday's 1-1 draw with Fulham.

“It was a difficult decision to start him or bring him off the bench," said Wilder. [He's had another week's training so he's put himself right in the frame to start at the weekend.

"Rhian's an infectious character. He's at the forefront of our thinking."

On Liverpool, Wilder continued: "We all have to go through these situations but there are still some world class players (at Liverpool) and though they have lost one world-class player for a lengthy period of time, they have other world-class players to come in.

"We all want our best and most consistent team out there as injuries affects consistency and rhythm, it certainly has for us, and it doesn't make the task any easier.

"Their performance levels didn't dip last night (in the Champions League against Ajax) and I'm not expecting it to on Saturday."
