Sheffield United kept yet another clean sheet, whilst recording a fourth home victory of the season, against Luton Town.

Similar to the midweek game, Chris Wilder made multiple changes to the starting eleven. Firstly, Sam McCallum came in for Harrison Burrows, Oliver Arblaster surprisingly got a start ahead of Sydie Peck after recovering from an ankle injury, and Rhian Brewster started down the left instead of Gustavo Hamer.

First half

Sheffield United flew out of the blocks and piled the pressure on Luton Town early doors. And it came as no surprise when Jesurun Rak-Sakyi broke the deadlock in the 12th rminute. A dangerous freekick was kept alive by Anel Ahmedhodzic and the young winger reacted quickest as he turned on the ball and steered it past Kaminski in the Luton goal.

Moments before the half-time whistle, Kieffer Moore was denied a goal via the legs of the Luton shot-stopper, and he was on hand again to parry a powerful strike from Vinicius Souza, and Rak-Sakyi was involved in the attack once more during this phase of play.

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scores his second goal of the game, and his second of the season, against Luton Town, which ultimately led to Sheffield United winning 2-0.

Second half

Much like the first half, the Blades started off on the front foot, and they soon doubled their lead through the man that got them the first goal, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. The Crystal Palace loanee beat Ruell Walters and then fired in a low and hard shot which managed to beat the visiting goalkeeper.

By this point, United were in total control of the match and it was more likely for the Blades to clinch a third of the afternoon rather than the visitors pulling one back. And Vinicius Souza almost opened his account for the season; the powerful midfielder magnificently struck a shot from the edge of the box, and just when you thought it was whizzing into the bottom left corner, a lick of paint denied him.

The Blades eventually saw out a 2-0 lead which now increases their unbeaten run to nine, and their consecutive clean sheets tally improves to six. Heading into the international break, Sheffield United are sitting in 2nd, level on points with top of the league Sunderland.
