Sevilla are set to beat Marseille in their move for Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume.
Agoume had arrived at Inter frrom Ligue 1 side Sochaux and he has only spent loan deals away from the club, having failed to break into the Inter first-team.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that while Marseille initially seemed close to signing the midfielder, they have now dropped out of talks due to having doubts about the player’s intentions regarding a move to the Ligue 1 side. Sevilla are now inching closer to signing the player.
Thee Spanish side will land the 21-year-old on a loan deal and they are likely to have an option to buy at the end of the loan deal. Contacts between Inter and Sevilla are ongoing to seal a deal for the player.
Sevilla had initially failed in the move for Agoume and Marseille seemed set to make a concrete offer, but it now seems as if the the midfielder is to set to move to Spain.
