Sevilla have completed the signing of former Real Madrid star Isco. But it is unlikely to curb Luis Alberto’s pending transfer to the Spanish club.

According to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, both Luis Alberto and Isco have different footballing skillsets and play in different positions on the field, and that is why Sevilla’s move for the former Los Blancos attacker should not be a cause of concern for Lazio midfielder.

In one of the recent press conferences, Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri confirmed Alberto’s intention to part ways with the Roman club. The ex-Chelsea boss said:

“Luis Alberto, for the second year, in a row has expressed the will to finish his career in Spain. More than in Spain in general, just in Sevilla. I can’t tell you if I will still have him at the beginning of September.”

The former Liverpool midfielder has a contract at Lazio until June 2025. Sarri’s side sees Ivan Ilić as a potential replacement for the 29-year-old Spaniard.
