Julen Lopetegui will resume training with Sevilla next Monday as he aims to give his players a break this weekend, report Mundo Deportivo.

The Spanish coach is without 11 players as a significant proportion of the squad is away for the current international break. Lopetegui wants to use this opportunity to give his players a rest before they resume training on Monday.

Los Nervionenses want to be in the best shape possible for their game against Atlético Madrid, which is set to take place on the 1st of October, with kick-off scheduled at 6.30pm local time.

Summer signing Marcão is set to train with the group from Monday after following an individualised plan with a trainer this past week.

Mexican winger Tecatito Corona, who suffered a fractured fibula and ankle ligaments in August, will remain sidelined and is not expected to make a return until after the World Cup.
