Sevilla to rival Marseille in hunt for Borussia Dortmund star Gio Reyna | OneFootball

The transfer team at Sevilla are expressing a keen interest in the signature of Borussia Dortmund star Giovanni Reyna.

That’s according to Sky Sports Germany, who have this evening provided a fresh insight into the future of the United States international.

Reyna, it is claimed, could well be on the move this month.

As the Dortmund brass go in search of funds for incomings ahead of the 2nd half of the term, the 21-year-old has been earmarked as ‘a candidate for departure’.

BVB boss Edin Terzić is said to be displeased with the defensive contribution being continually put forth by Reyna, with the injury-riddled midfielder, as a result, having been afforded just a solitary Bundesliga start across the season to date.

When it comes to potential landing spots for the unquestionably talented starlet, two clubs are understood to have positioned themselves at the front of the queue.

One comes in the form of French giants Olympique Marseille, and the other the aforementioned Sevilla.

Both have already ‘come knocking’ for Reyna, with the latter keen on a potential loan deal, after striking similar agreements for Inter Milan’s Lucien Agoumé, and Manchester United talent Hannibal Mejbri.
