Sevilla are set to be without the services of a minimum of six first-team players, for their upcoming La Liga showdown with Real Sociedad.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Nervión.
Sevilla are set to mark their return to league action this Sunday, in a meeting with the aforementioned Real Sociedad at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
The Andalusians will head into proceedings with sights on a third win from four, after most recently putting Espanyol to the sword by two goals to nil late last week.
In efforts towards as much, though, boss García Pimienta won’t be able to call on a whole host of key performers.
As per MD, all of Ørjan Nyland, Loïc Badé and Tanguy Nianzou will be unavailable this weekend.
The first has been ruled out for four to five weeks with a knee injury, with García Pimienta having since confirmed that, though the problems of defenders Badé and Nianzou are less serious, they too will not recover in time to face Sociedad.
Add this to the ongoing absences of all of Saúl Ñíguez, Suso and Chidera Ejuke, and Sevilla are looking somewhat light on the personnel front for the upcoming round of La Liga action.
