Sevilla to announce 6th summer signing this weekend | OneFootball

The busy summer transfer window being enjoyed by La Liga outfit Sevilla is set to continue through the upcoming weekend.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards the Nevionenses as preparing to announce yet another signing.

The last few weeks have proven to be of something of a hectic nature at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

This comes as the Sevilla brass set about building a squad to the liking of new head coach García Pimienta.

To date, five new faces have been unveiled as additions to the first-team ranks in Nervión, namely Albert Sambi Lokonga, Peque Fernández, Saúl Ñíguez, Chidera Ejuke, and, most recently, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Evidently, though, the club’s board are not done yet…

As per a report from the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano, yet another new signing is expected to be made official by Sevilla this coming weekend.

The player on his way back to the Sánchez Pizjuán? Lucien Agoumé.

After he spent the 2nd half of last season on loan with the club, Sevilla recently opened talks with their counterparts at Inter Milan, over making midfielder Agoumé’s signing a permanent one.

And, following a fresh round of discussions late in the week, a breakthrough has been found.

Romano details:

‘Lucien Agoumé will become [a] new Sevilla player this week, clubs are completing the deal. €4m fixed fee to Inter plus 50% sell-on clause, Agoumé already agreed on the contract days ago.’
