La Liga outfit Sevilla have this week been credited with an interest in an up-and-coming member of the midfield ranks at Tottenham Hotspur.
The player in question? Archie Gray.
Youngster Gray for his part made the move to north London from Leeds United this past summer.
Despite having been widely considered one of the standout emerging talents in the English game, however, the versatile starlet, still just 18, has thus far struggled for game-time.
All told, across Spurs’ first eight Premier League fixtures of the campaign, Gray has featured for just 33 minutes.
And eager to take advantage of such woes on the part of the versatile midfielder/defender, as alluded to above, are Spanish outfit Sevilla.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing Muchodeporte portal, on the lookout for reinforcements with a view to the 2nd-half of the campaign, the Sevilla brass have set their sights firmly on Gray.
Víctor Orta, sporting director at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, previously oversaw the development of the teen whilst in charge at Leeds, and is now eyeing a temporary reunion in Nervión this winter.
