Sevilla will be without the services of a key member of the club’s backline for their upcoming meeting with Celta Vigo.
This comes owing to developments in the Nervionenses’ latest outing.
Sevilla marked their return to action on Sunday, welcoming Leganés to Andalusia for an important clash in the battle against relegation from La Liga.
When all was said and done at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, the two sides were forced to settle for a share of the spoils, owing to an entertaining 2-2 draw.
En route to as much, though, the day’s hosts were dealt a blow on the personnel front.
Just shy of the half-hour mark, José Ángel Carmona was shown a yellow card by referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández, for a challenge on Duk.
His 10th of the La Liga campaign, Carmona is therefore facing up to a one-game suspension.
Sevilla, as a result, will be without the contributions of their first-choice right-back in the club’s next outing, a trip to Balaídos to face Celta Vigo next weekend.
