Sevilla are refusing to give up in their chase of Luis Alberto and they’re reportedly ready to raise their offer in an attempt to convince Lazio of a deal.

The future of the 29-year-old Spanish is often in doubt, with it being no secret that he dreams of returning to La Liga one day. With no major offers arriving for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lazio could look to cash in on Luis Alberto this summer in order to fund their incoming transfer market.

As reported by Tuttosport (via LazioNews24), Sevilla are incredibly keen to sign Luis Alberto this summer and they’re ready to send in a new offer following their initial €16m bid. A fixed offer of €22m plus add-ons could be sent in soon as they look to secure the Lazio star’s signature.

Reports underlined that the Biancocelesti were holding out for around €30m but later suggestions came that president Claudio Lotito was willing to lower the Spaniard’s price tag to €25m. Maurizio Sarri is reportedly frustrated with the slow transfer market progress, so the price drop could reflect the desire to get things moving in the Italian capital.

30% of the fee would go to Liverpool as a result of the deal that brought Luis Alberto to Rome back in 2016.
