In a strategic move to bolster their midfield, Sevilla FC has accelerated its pursuit of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat, entering advanced talks with his current club, Fenerbahçe.
The Andalusian side, keen to swiftly address a key area of their squad, has reportedly agreed in principle to cover the player's full salary for the duration of a potential loan. This significant financial commitment is seen as a crucial step in smoothing the path toward an agreement.
While Fenerbahçe's preference remains a permanent sale to secure a transfer fee, the club is now pragmatically considering a loan deal. This shift in stance is a direct response to the concrete interest from Sevilla and the realities of the current transfer market. This development adds a new layer to the player's future, which was already the subject of speculation after Africafoot exclusively revealed that Saudi outfit Neom SC had also placed the 28-year-old midfielder on their shortlist.
