Sevilla interested in Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi | OneFootball

According to Foot Mercato, La Liga club Sevilla are interested in making a summer move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi (26).

Ndidi was the subject of intense interest from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer, however, the Nigerian international remained at Leicester, despite the club’s relegation to the Championship. The Nigerian international has one goal and three assists in the Championship so far this season, and this form is attracting interest from Sevilla. The Spanish side’s sporting director, Victor Orta, has already held talks with the player’s agent to lay the foundations for an offer at the end of the season.

However, according to Foot Mercato, Ndidi is dreaming of a return to the Premier League. Given the Foxes’ position at the top of the Championship, he could do that with his current club, however, the option of a switch to La Liga cannot be ruled out at the end of the season.
