Through a statement, Sevilla officially cancelled their friendly matches in the United States against América and Pumas, scheduled for the October FIFA international break.
“Sevilla FC will not play the two games they were scheduled to play in California in the month of October, due to the breach, with Sevilla FC, of what was agreed in the contract by the company organising the friendlies,” Sevilla announced on Twitter.
Similarly, the Andalusian side warned that they could take the same action for their November friendlies against Tigres and Monterrey.
“Sevilla FC had planned two other friendlies in November with the same company, which the club will not play if the conditions agreed in the agreement are not met.”
