MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Prelims concluded on Tuesday with its second-leg encounters, determining the final final seven teams that will compete in this summer’s Group Gold Cup.

Costa Rica, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and Suriname booked their participation in the Group Stage of the 2025 edition.

Trinidad and Tobago 4, Cuba 0

Trinidad and Tobago sealed a 4-nil victory over Cuba, winning 6-1 on aggregate, at Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.

Romario Torres received a red card in the 3’, leaving Cuba with ten players.

The hosts opened the score in the 22’ with a goal by Isaiah Lee, who struck with a right-footed shot in the penalty area. He scored again in the 37’, earning his brace and the second goal for the Soca Warriors.

Kevin Molino increased the lead in the 51’, before Nathaniel James put a bow on the win in the 84’ with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner.

Martinique 0, Suriname 1

Suriname earned a 1-nil victory, winning 2-nil on aggregate, over Martinique at the Stade Municipal Pierre-Aliker in Fort-de-France, Martinique.

The lone goal of the encounter came in the last minutes of the match as Immanuël Pherai tapped in the ball from the right side of the box in the 80’, sealing the qualification for Suriname.

Jamaica 3, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 0

Jamaica won 3-ni result against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, winning 4-1 on aggregate, at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

The first Jamaican goal came in the 27’ thanks to a right-footed banger by Warner Brown.

Andrew Johnson committed an own goal in the 89’ to double Jamaica’s lead.

The Reggae Boyz got their third in the 90 '+4 from the boots of Renaldo Cephas, who sent a left-footed shot to the bottom of the net.

Guatemala 2, Guyana 0

Guatemala took a 2-nil win over Guayana, winning 4-3 on aggregate, at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

La Bicolor took control early on with Rubio Rubín scoring the opening goal in the 11’.

Erick Lemus sent the ball to the back of the net in the 76’ to secure the qualification to the Group Stage of the 2025 Gold Cup.

Nicaragua 0, Guadeloupe 1

Guadeloupe took a 1-nil victory against Nicaragua, winning 2-nil on aggregate, at Estadio Nacional de Fútbol in Managua, Nicaragua.

The only goal of the match came in the second half, in the 64’, from a right-footed shot in the edge of the area by Raphaël Mirva.

Costa Rica 6, Belize 1

Costa Rica won 6-1 against Belize, 13-1 on aggregate, at the Estadio Nacional in San Jose, Costa Rica.

An own goal in the 1’ by Donell Arzú opened the tally for Costa Rica.

Los Ticos doubled their lead in the 6’ with a right-footed hit from outside the box by Alejandro Bran. Alonso Martínez got the third goal of the night in the 8’ with a right-footed shot in the box.

Manfred Ugalde sent a header to the back of the net in the 36’ to score the fourth for the hosts.

Belize pulled one back in the 47’ thanks to the services of Carlos Bernárdez, who was ready to capitalize on a loose ball with a right-footed shot to the back of the net.

Costa Rica recovered their momentum, extending its lead in the 66’ through a right-footed rocket by Bran.

Álvaro Zamora scored the sixth Costa Rica goal in the 69’, to wrap up the qualification series.

Honduras 2, Bermuda 0

Honduras earned a 2-nil win over Bermuda, a 7-3 aggregate score, at Estadio José de la Paz Herrera Uclés in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

La H got its first goal of the match in the 53’ when Jorge Benguché struck a header to the back of the net.

Honduras got its second and in the 57’, with Luis Palma striking with his right inside the penalty area, securing the final spot in the 2025 Gold Cup Group Stage.
