No fewer than seven members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have been afforded call-ups to the latest Spanish national team squad.
And this Blaugrana group includes one altogether noteworthy return.
Luis de la Fuente unveiled his latest selection of players a short time ago, ahead of an upcoming Nations League quarter-final double-header against the Netherlands.
Featuring front and centre were a whole host of leading players from clubs across the continent, from Arsenal to Tottenham Hotspur, and Bayer Leverkusen to Paris Saint-Germain.
No side, though, were more heavily relied upon than the aforementioned Barcelona.
Amid a stellar recent run of form on the part of Hansi Flick’s squad, seven Barca players have been included in Spain’s latest setup.
This includes all of Pau Cubarsí, Pedri, Dani Olmo, Lamine Yamal, Marc Casadó and Ferran Torres.
Most noteworthy of all, though, is the return of Iñigo Martínez, rewarded for his ongoing excellence by way of a first La Roja call since back in 2023.
