Milan Futuro won their second straight game to ease their fears of direct relegation from Serie C, coming from behind to beat Sestri Levante.

The Futuro had a dramatic game in the last round as they conceded an equaliser in the 92nd minute against Campobasso, before Michele Camporese found a winner three minutes later to seal a 3-2 victory.

For the first time this season, Massimo Oddo’s side have consecutive games. The match did not start very well as the Futuro immediately conceded a goal from Montebugnoli from a corner, putting the home side a goal up.

The Rossoneri were not discouraged and showed great character, coming close to equalising before half-time. The goal did not arrive but when they returned from the dressing rooms it was still the Diavolo who were in control of the game, and they finally levelled.

It was in the 68th minute that the equaliser arrived, scored by Gabriele Alesi – his second consecutive game with a goal – who found the top corner with a great right-footed shot.

In the 82nd minute the Ligurian side went down to ten men due to a foul with the ball far away and two minutes later Milan Futuro took advantage, going in front through Simone Ianesi.

With this victory, while waiting for SPAL and Lucchese, the Rossoneri are fourth from bottom, one point above the team who are third-bottom and three points away from fifth-bottom. Next match: second-placed Ternana next Sunday at 12:30 CEST.
