Benjamin Šeško made a big decision this summer to stay at RB Leipzig this summer, but it is certainly paying off with his start to the season.
His goals against Juventus make it three in two in the Champions League, and 10 goal contributions already.
The Old Lady suffered a double injury blow inside the opening 11 minutes, which Leipzig and Šeško have taken full advantage of. He did brilliantly to take down Loïs Openda’s ball towards him, before smashing the ball into the net off the underside of the bar.
He got another from the penalty spot in the second half, before Dušan Vlahović got his own second strike and Francisco Conceição netted what appears to be the winner for Juve.
It is no easy task scoring against Thiago Motta’s side these days, given they had not conceded a goal in their opening six Serie A games, but Šeško has done it twice, which will only boost his ever-growing reputation even further.
