Back in the summer of 2014, Liverpool signed Adam Lallana from Southampton for a transfer fee of €31 million.

Lallana went on to score 22 goals and register 21 assists in 178 appearances for the club. Lallana also won four major trophies during his time at Anfield.

Last summer, Lallana departed Liverpool and signed for Brighton and Hove Albion on a free transfer.

As you can see below, some Liverpool supporters have taken to Twitter to reflect on Lallana’s time at Anfield.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We agree with the aforementioned responses. Lallana was a very good player on his day.

Unfortunately, the Englishman could never stay fit during his time at Anfield. Therefore, Lallana never fulfilled his potential as a Liverpool player.

We will never forget Lallana’s equaliser against Manchester United at Old Trafford back in 2019. Liverpool were 1-0 down going into the final 10 minutes of the match.

However, Lallana made sure that Liverpool left Old Trafford with a point.
