Theo Hernandez is expected to start on the Milan bench again in Verona, while Filippo Terracciano could join Youssouf Fofana in central midfield.

Alessandro Florenzi, Yunus Musah, Ismael Bennacer, Luka Jovic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Noah Okafor are also unavailable for the Rossoneri.

According to Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia, Fonseca will start Terracciano in central midfield, moving Tijjani Reijnders into an attacking midfield role.

France international Theo is expected to start the second consecutive match on the bench, making room for Alex Jimenez on the left flank.

Fonseca explained on Thursday that benching Theo is not a punishment but a way to rest him after playing many matches for club and country.
