Check out today’s transfer updates from Serie A, including Albert Gudmundsson’s green light to Inter and Juventus’ advantage in the race for Teun Koopmeiners.

The 26-year-old Gudmundsson has shined on the Ligurian coast this season, scoring 12 goals across 29 games, and his work has attracted the attention of a number of clubs including Tottenham, Juventus and Inter.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported today that the Icelandic forward had given his green light for a move to Inter in the summer, keen to remain in Serie A for the time being despite the serious interest of Tottenham.

Juventus do not want to lose to Liverpool in the race for Koopmeiners and have taken a step forward in the race for the Atalanta star, having reportedly reached a verbal agreement regarding a contract worth €4.5m net per season.

Milan are expecting to cash in from some of their loanees in the summer, ready to sell Charles De Ketelaere to Atalanta, Alexis Saelemaekers to Bologna and Daniel Maldini to Monza, deals that should bring in over €40m, giving the club more resources to work with in the transfer market.

Matias Soule has continued to impress at Frosinone this season and Juventus now need to decide what to do with the promising Argentinian talent. The two choices appear to be either cashing in immediately or keeping him in the first team, hoping his potential is realised in Turin.

Roma have reportedly decided to hire Monza’s Francois Modesto to be their new sporting director in the summer, needing a replacement for the now-departed Tiago Pinto. The Biancorossi director is contracted to the club until June 2025 but is expected to agree an early exit.
