Serie A side Lazio have been offered a chance to sign former Real Madrid left-back Marcelo this summer.
The Biancocelesti have seen their rivals Roma seal the signature of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer, which has been announced already. La Gazzetta dello Sport now claim that they have been offered to respond to Roma’s move by potentially signing Marcelo, whose services have been offered to them.
Marcelo is currently a free agent following his exit from Real Madrid at the end of their Champions League winning and La Liga winning campaign. Lazio, it is said, have been left tempted by the approach from the player’s entourage and they are considering whether to move for the player or not.
It is a situation which could light up at any moment, with Claudio Lotito reflecting on the decision and taking his time over a potential move, especially considering the experience and technical ability he would add to Maurizio Sarri’s system.
