Gio Reyna is reportedly on the verge of leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer for a new adventure in Serie A.
According to Sky Sports and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Saturday, Parma have held positive talks with the 22-year-old United States international.
Reyna, the son of former professional Claudio Reyna, is "looking for a new challenge" after a career wearing yellow in the Bundesliga.
The reports claim "the clubs are in contact, with current discussions over a potential fee of €6–7 million."
Reyna is reportedly a fan of Parma's project, with the club looking to improve on their 16th-place finish from last season.
Should he swap Dortmund for Parma, the attacking midfielder would hope to play a leading role in the 2025-26 season ahead of his country co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
To date in his club career, Reyna registered 27 goals and 28 assists in 173 appearances. For the USMNT, he has eight goals in 32 fixtures.
