Juventus will aim to provisionally move to the top of the Serie A table when they meet an out-of-sorts Napoli tomorrow night.

A 1-1 draw with Inter two matchdays ago brought Juventus back in contention for the Scudetto as they are now only two points off the league leaders. Massimiliano Allegri’s men have come a long way since last season’s underwhelming showings as they have gone clear in the second spot by four points from third-placed Milan.

Despite taking the lead through Giovani Simeone early in their fifth Champions League outing this campaign, Real Madrid overturned the deficit as Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham netted once each in the first half. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa equalised just after the break but Nico Paz and Joselu were clinical enough to take the hosts over the finishing line.

The Partenopei will aim to shrug off the blues they accumulated from their last match when the Nerazzurri thumped in three goals to continue their title charge. Quite underwhelmingly, the Neapolitans have only managed to win two of their previous seven games across all competitions.

Giacomo Raspadori’s added time strike helped Napoli consolidate their Scudetto-winning campaign last season in this same fixture. However, the form has turned and Juventus might be able to gain their revenge.

Danilo has returned from injury. Daniele Rugani might get the nod over Alex Sandro in the back-three.
