Inter star Lautaro Martinez entered an exclusive club after his brace against Lecce on the weekend, having scored more than 20 goals in three consecutive Serie A seasons, a feat only achieved by Gabriel Batistuta, Antonio Di Natale, Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo in the last 65 years.

Milan winger Rafael Leao was highly praised by the Italian newspapers for his shining performance in the 1-1 draw with Atalanta, with his early goal particularly enamouring the local press.

Daniele De Rossi’s Roma picked up a 3-2 win over Torino in their Monday evening Serie A match thanks to the first Paulo Dybala hat-trick since 2018, a key result in their fight for a top four finish. They now sit four points behind Bologna.

Lazio travelled to Fiorentina, where they fumbled a lead to lose 2-1 to Michael Kayode and Giacomo Bonaventura goals.
