Antonio Conte could stick with the same Napoli line-up for the third Serie A match in a row when the league leaders host Udinese at the Stadio Maradona on Sunday evening.

Kick-off is set for 19.45 GMT.

Fiorentina did Antonio Conte’s side a favour on Thursday night by beating second-place Inter 3-0, which means that the Partenopei now have a three point lead at the top with no games in hand for the teams below them to worry about.

And with no European fixtures or Coppa Italia ties on the schedule, Napoli only have Serie A matches to contend with for the rest of 2024-25, which means there has been a lot of consistency in their line-up over the last few weeks.

Napoli went with the same team for the 1-1 draw with Roma last weekend and the 2-1 win over Juventus the one before.

There was also just one change to the team from the 3-2 win over Atalanta a week before that, as Leonardo Spinazzola has started in place of the injured Matias Olivera for the last two games.

And so, it could be the same team again for Udinese on Sunday evening, with Romelu Lukaku, David Neres and Matteo Politano leading the line in front of a midfield trio consisting of Stanislav Lobotka, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Scott McTominay.

Udinese, meanwhile, could hand a rest to Alexis Sanchez, who has started three of the last four Serie A matches, as Kosta Runjaic looks to improve on a 3-2 win over Venezia last weekend.
