Milan have already confirmed the imminent departure of Pioli, whose five-year spell in charge is coming to an end. They’ve already secured their second place finish this season and will be hoping to close out their campaign with a smile, having won just one of their last five games.

The Rossoneri are without Mike Maignan, Simon Kjaer and Samuel Chukwueze, all sidelined with injuries.

Salernitana have been in disastrous form this season, managing just two wins in their 37 league matches, leaving them rock bottom of the Serie A table. With their relegation confirmed, the Campania outfit have little to play for in their final game.

The Granata cannot count on the injured Guillermo Ochoa, Federico Fazio, Domagoj Bradaric, Iron Gomis and Jerome Boateng. Toma Basic is unavailable through suspension.

When these two teams met back in December, Salernitana held the Rossoneri to a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Arechi.
