19:10 Great save, Svilar!

Shortly after the free-kick was cleared, Pereyra got a flick on for Lucca, who tried to find the near corner, but his shot was turned round the post by the fingertips of Svilar. Some brief Roma trouble from the resulting corner.

Mancini gives an unnecessary free-kick away. Decent crossing position for Pereyra, although his ball in doesn’t clear the first man.

19:08 Speculative Pellegrini

A decent cross in from Angelino is headed away to Pellegrini, who smashes a volley comfortably over the bar from the edge of the D.

19:06 And away we go again

Perez is bandaged up, Smalling gets play back underway for Roma. 10 vs. 10 temporarily.

19:04 Play halted

Two minutes in, and somewhat ironically, there is a lengthy stoppage after a clash of heads between Perez and Azmoun.

19:03 Abraham in behind

A long ball gets played forward towards the England international, but he is flagged for offside. Okoye goes long from the free-kick.

19:01 Play re-starts

Play begins with an uncontested drop ball rather than a kick-off. Okoye gets us going.

18:59 The teams are out

Pereyra and Pellegrini lead the two sides out of the tunnel, kick-off due immenently.

18:41 Preparations well underway

18:33 More details on Udinese-Roma line-ups

Tammy Abraham and Sardar Azmoun will lead the line for Roma this evening when they play out the final 18 minutes of their suspended match against Udinese, which will re-start with the scores level at 1-1. https://t.co/gqa3rvzyoI #Udinese #Roma #ASRoma #UdineseRoma #SerieA #Calcio — Football Italia (@footballitalia) April 25, 2024

Udinese (3-5-1-1): Okoye; Perez, Bijol, Kristensen; Ferreira, Samardzic, Walace, Payero, Zemura; Pereyra; Lucca.

Roma (3-4-1-2): Svilar; Mancini, Smalling, Angelino; Karsdorp, Cristante, Pellegrini, Spinazzola; Dybala; Azmoun, Abraham.

Join us for the build-up and action from the remaining 18 minutes of the Serie A match between Udinese and Roma, which will be played out on Thursday evenings with the scores level at 1-1.

The match had originally kicked off as scheduled on April 14, but was suspended in the 72nd minute after Roma defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the pitch. The Ivorian was taken to hospital and has subsequently been cleared to return to action.

As is customary for suspended matches in Serie A, the game will pick up again from where it left off, rather than being replayed in full.

So, we will have 18 minutes of regular time plus stoppages this evening.

There will be no involvement for Udinese pair Kingsley Ehizibue and Hassane Kamara, who were substituted off during the original game, and are therefore not permitted to re-enter. The same goes for Roma duo Dean Huijsen and Houssem Aouar.

In terms of injuries, Udinese will be without Sandi Lovric, Florian Thauvin, Gerard Deulofeu, Enzo Ebosse and Lautaro Giannetti, while the Giallorossi will likely have to do without Ndicka and Romelu Lukaku, although they are expected to return for the final matches of the 2023-24 season.

Kick-off is due at 19.00 BST.
