Good Evening and welcome to the Football Italia Liveblog for coverage of this evening’s Serie A match between Inter and Fiorentina from San Siro.

This is the second instalment of a double header of Serie A matches involving Inter and Fiorentina.

The two sides also faced each other on Thursday in Tuscany to play the remaining 73 minutes of the match originally scheduled for December 1, which was abandoned after Edoardo Bove was taken ill.

Fiorentina, with a massively reduced set of options in their squad on Thursday, rose to a surprise 3-0 victory over the reigning Serie A champions.

Tonight brings a chance for revenge for Simone Inzaghi and his team, while Fiorentina, now with a full squad to chose from, have a chance to make it back-to-back victories over the Nerazzurri.

Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.

Palladino furious over lack of VAR for Inter's corner

Speaking at his post-match press conference: “I never talk about referees, I don’t judge them and I promised myself I would never judge a refereeing error. But we definitely got a bit angry about Inter’s goal. I don’t want to get angry with the referee, but with the (VAR) protocol.

“If we have a tool that is there to help referees make fewer mistakes, we can’t fail to intervene on an objective error. The ball went out by about 20 cm. These are decisive details.

“The protocol says that VAR can’t intervene. I agree that it shouldn’t intervene on everything, but this is not good, because we find ourselves arguing and going home angry.”
