Two Napoli starters will be unavailable to Antonio Conte when the Partenopei host Empoli at the Stadio Maradona next weekend, while Italy international Samuele Ricci will also have to sit out of Torino’s upcoming visit to Como.
Here are all the players who picked up suspensions during the weekend’s Serie A fixtures.
Ricci was the only player to be sent off in Serie A this weekend. He was given his marching orders for an 85th minute foul on Junior Ajayi during the 1-1 draw between Torino and Hellas Verona. The 23-year-old was shown a straight red card, has been given a one-match ban and will serve his suspension against Como.
Five other players will be suspended for the 32nd round of Serie A fixtures due to yellow card suspensions.
Two Napoli players in Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa will be unavailable for next weekend’s game against Empoli after picking up bookings in the 1-1 draw against Bologna on Monday night.
