Serie A chief Luigi De Siervo has hit out at PSG after the re-signing of Kylian Mbappe.

De Siervo was reacting to Mbappe's decision to reject Real Madrid and sign a new deal with PSG this weekend.

He said, "Congratulations to AC Milan, success comes from the ability to keep the accounts in order and to manage a place by working to normal rules. What is not good is what happened in Paris with Mbappé.

"If football continues to have owners who have unlimited purchasing power and who are willing to do crazy things, it will become an unsustainable football driven solely by the logic of who has the most money to spend.

"The healthy model is the one that Milan has been able to build with its directors, its growth and its reasoned investments."
