The first Serie A Coach of the Month award for the new season has been won by Torino’s Paolo Vanoli.

It has been a fantastic start to life in the Granata dugout for Vanoli, who arrived this summer from Venezia following Ivan Jurić’s departure.

The 52-year-old is yet to taste defeat with his new club and has helped Toro to third place in the Serie A standings after three games.

They were unfortunate to throw away a two-goal lead at San Siro on the opening weekend in a 2-2 draw with Milan before going on to defeat Atalanta and Venezia.

In addition, they have also qualified for the second round of the Coppa Italia following a comfortable win over Cosenza.
