Sergio Ramos has made the UEFA 2020 Team of the Year. The Real Madrid captain was named in this best eleven for the ninth time in his career. He has the third most appearances in this team, behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi. Ramos makes the team after winning LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup with Real Madrid in 2020, during which he also scored his record number of goals in a calendar year (11).

The uefa.com users vote to pick the best eleven of the year from the nominees put forward by the UEFA editorial team. Along with Sergio Ramos, the 2020 Team of the Year also includes Neuer, Van Dijk, Davies, Kimmich, Thiago, De Bruyne, Messi, Neymar, Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo.
