Los Rayados have produced the surprise signing of the winter by announcing the arrival of Real Madrid and Spanish defender Sergio Ramos.
Ramos, 38, attracted interest far and wide, even rejecting the opportunity to reunite with former manager Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahçe.

The news first broke last week, as Ramos accepted personal terms of a move to Mexico. In the last few hours, more details have broke which suggest that the four-time UEFA Champions League winner will sign a one-year contract, expiring in December 2025.
It is unsure when Ramos would likely make his debut, with the official announcement set to take place over the coming days.
In December, Los Rayados reached the Liga MX Apertura final, losing to Club América. Since the start of the Clausura, Martín Demichelis' men have felt the final defeat blues, winning just once in the first five games, coming most recently in a 1-0 win over Necaxa.
The side travels to Canada for a Wednesday night meeting in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup knockout tie with Forge FC, before returning to league action to FC Juárez at the weekend.
As Ramos' move draws closer, the Spaniard joins the likes of James Rodríguez and Pau López who made moves from Spain to Mexico this winter.
He joins a Monterrey side that is searching for a sixth Liga MX title, aiming to end a six year wait.
The move presents the opportunity to feature in the inaugural expanded version of the FIFA Club World Cup after Monterrey lifted the 2021 CONCACAF Champions Cup. Their group for the tournament features Inter Milan, River Plate and Urawa Red Diamonds.
