After sitting out of Barca’s Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen in midweek, he returned to the starting lineup for their match against Cadiz at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.

He caught the eye with yet another effortless display in the middle of the park.

Busquets is perhaps the calmest footballer in the world.

He never panics under pressure. It’s almost impossible to get the ball off of him.

And he showed once again there’s no point of pressuring him in the second half at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.

In the 75th minute, Busquets retrieved the ball from Marc-Andre ter Stegen on the edge of his own box.

Busquets was surrounded by three Cadiz players. If he lost the ball, it would almost certainly lead to a goal for the home side.

But Busquets did not panic at all. He brilliantly evaded the Cadiz attackers with some classy footwork before calmly passing the ball up field.

Busquets’ composure really is off the charts. He’s now in his mid 30s but he’s still more than capable of toying with opposition attackers.

Freelance Sports Journalist Alex Truica summed up Busquets’ moment of pure class brilliantly, writing on Twitter: “Busquets is an absolute, absolute mad-man. Crazy yet Busquets typical stuff. Man knows no pressure, doesn’t matter how many opponents attack him.”

Busquets played the full 90 minutes as Barcelona cruised to a convincing victory.

Goals from Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele.

The match was stopped for some time in the 81st minute when a Cadiz fell ill and needed urgent medical attention.

Players left the pitch for around 30 minutes. They eventually returned and the game was played to a conclusion.

Per ESPN, the fan suffered a heart attack but eventually recovered a pulse, was stabilised and taken away in an ambulance.
