Real Madrid will reportedly make a move for Sergej Milinković-Savić should they fail in their bids to sign Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek this summer.
Los Blancos are in the market for a new midfielder at the end of the season and have been heavily linked with moves for both the Manchester United man and the Ajax youngster.
But according to L’Equipe, Zinedine Zidane’s side have drawn up a shortlist of players should they fail in their attempts to land their top two targets.
Milinković-Savić is at the top of that list with the French tactician having a long-standing admiration for the Serbia international.
Milinković-Savić has also been rumoured to be of interest to Manchester United, with the Red Devils reportedly having an offer for the versatile attacker rejected in 2018.
The 24–year-old has gone from strength-to-strength since then though and has become a vital component in Lazio’s rise to third in the Serie A table this term.
It’s thought that the Rome club will likely only accept offers of over €100m for the former Genk man.
