Here’s what went down …

Serbia 2-2 Portugal

Scorers: Jota 11′, 36′; Mitrović 46′, Kostić 60′

Portugal got off to the perfect start after Jota headed home having been picked out by Bernardo Silva.

Jota then grabbed his second – this time heading in a Cédric Soares cross – only for Aleksandar Mitrović to grab one back just after half time.

The dramatic comeback was complete when Filip Kostić finished an incredible counter attack, with Nikola Milenković dismissed late on for his horror challenge on Danilo.

It looked like Cristiano Ronaldo won it for Portugal in injury time, only for the linesman to rule that his effort didn’t cross the line. It looked over for us!

Czech Republic 1-1 Belgium

Scorers: Provod 50′; Lukaku 61′

After a cagey first half, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock after Lukáš Provod slammed a low strike past Thibaut Courtois.

But Belgium were level shortly after when Romelu Lukaku turned defender Ondřej Čelustka inside out before finishing well.

Ireland 0-1 Luxembourg

An upset, however, did come tonight – after Ireland suffered a shock defeat to Luxembourg in Dublin.

The winning goal came five minutes from time through Gerson Rodrigues, who fizzed a low strike past Gavin Bazunu.

Netherlands 2-0 Latvia

Scorers: Berghuis 32′, Luuk de Jong 69′

Having taken control early on, the hosts went close through Davy Klaassen and Luuk de Jong only for their efforts to hit the woodwork.

But Steven Berghuis eventually put them ahead with a stunning left-footed finish after cutting inside from the right.

After Klaassen somehow managed to avoid bundling in from close range, De Jong hammered a bullet header past Roberts Ozols to secure victory.

Norway 0-3 Turkey

Scorers: Ozan 4′, 59′, Soyüncü 28′

Buoyed by their recent win over the Netherlands, Turkey went ahead after four minutes when Ozan Tufan slotted home from close range.

Norway pushed for an equaliser but missed some presentable opportunities, before Caglar Söyüncü rose highest to head past Rune Jarstein.

Ozan then doubled his tally with a brilliant curled effort, with the hosts reduced to ten-men late on after Kristian Thorstvedt was dismissed for his shocking challenge on Yusuf Yazici.
