The Reds were handed a fresh injury scare after Mane went off injured during his side's World Cup qualifying clash with Togo.

The forward was replaced by Boulaye Dia after just 28 minutes at the Stade de Kegue after looking in some discomfort.

He said: “Yes, the exit of Sadio Mane destabilized us. He is an important player for the team, we took him off as a precaution and there is nothing serious."
