The Serie A season is now officially over. Therefore, it is time for Inter to really start gearing up their plans for next campaign.

That will mean becoming active in the transfer market.

The priority may be to keep a squad that has won the Serie A title in dominant fashion together.

But that does not mean that there will not be players leaving and arriving.

Sell Carboni & Dumfries, Sign Bento – Inter Milan Firming Up Summer Transfer Plans

In terms of sales, there are two names who the Gazzetta expect could leave Inter.

The first is teenage attacking midfielder Carboni.

The 19-year-old Argentine international has just finished a season on loan with Monza. That campaign has seen him take a big step forward within the senior game.

Inter have rejected offers for Carboni.

But the Gazzetta report that the Nerazzurri would be ready to sell the Argentine for a bid of at least €30 million.

Then, wingback Denzel Dumfries is certainly a player who Inter will want to sell if he does not sign a contract extension.

The Gazzetta anticipate that Inter could accept offers as low as €20-25 million for the Dutchman.

Aston Villa now appear to be the team with the strongest interest in Dumfries’s signature.

As far as signings, the Gazzetta note that one area where Inter would have to intervene if they sell Dumfries would be a replacement for the former PSV man.

The likes of Fiorentina youngster Michael Kayode and wantaway Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo are two major targets in that respect.

But Inter’s real priority at the start of the transfer window is in goal.

The Nerazzurri want to sign Brazilian international goalkeeper Bento.

Athletico Paranaense want €20 million for the 24-year-old. That is certainly no small amount for Inter to invest.

However, the Nerazzurri anticipate that with a few sales, they can make the move for Bento happen.
