London City Lionesses have announced the news that six first team players will be moving on this summer following their promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The Pride announced their end of season exit list via a post on their official club website this evening.

It has been revealed that Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Georgia Brougham, Megan Campbell, Lucy Fitzgerald, Emma Mukandi and Connie Scofield are all moving on.

Forward Boye-Hlorkah is arguably the highest-profile departure at Hayes Lane this summer. She contributed six league goals this season and was the club’s second-highest goalscorer. Defender Brougham made 18 appearances for The Pride in the Barclays Women’s Championship this term while Campbell, Fitzgerald and Mukandi featured less often. Midfielder Scofield started the season at London City Lionesses before spending the second half of the campaign on-loan at Sheffield United.

London City Lionesses will play top flight football for the very first time in 2025/2026 after winning this season’s Barclays Women’s Championship. The Pride held their nerve on the final day of the campaign to narrowly beat Birmingham City to the league title. London City Lionesses have the backing of owner Michele Kang and they are expected to invest heavily in their playing squad in preparation for next season.
