There is a fast developing situation going on at Chelsea Football Club right now, one that could define the future of the club entirely.

Roman Abramovich is considering selling the club he has owned since 2003, and this looks largely down to pressure of his links to Vladimir Putin in the face of Russia invading Ukraine.

He is selling properties in London and looks to be cutting ties with everything he owns in the UK now, including Chelsea.

The club will not be short of suitors, and apparently they already have three bidders this week, one of which is Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss, who has admitted that he is considering buying Chelsea.

But another interested party is British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, as per the report below…

I am sure that these wont be the only two names we hear about, with Chelsea being a very desirable purchase despite the debt the new owner will owe to Roman Abramovich.
