Sebastián Córdova and Uriel Antuna swap will soon be announced

A historic swap deal between Club América and Chivas for 2020 Olympics stars Sebastián Córdova and Uriel Antuna will soon be announced.

According to Fox Sports journalist Natalia León, the deal has not been officialised just yet as Chivas have not yet defined their list of transferrable players for the upcoming season.

In addition, both players have been called up to the El Tri squad for the December 8th friendly against Chile, thus further delaying final negotiations.

There are still some details to complete but according to a myriad of sources in Mexico, the deal is all but done and will be completed in the near future.

Due to the weight of the deal and the nature of major players swapping the most iconic shirts in the country, the upcoming move has been widely criticised by both sets of fans.
